Who is this qualification for?
The objective of this qualification is to enhance and up skill the learner with additional sector specific knowledge. It is designed for learners who currently hold a Close Protection licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a Close Protection operative and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.
How long will it take?
Pre-course learning is a requirement to undertake the face to face training.

- Application of physical intervention skills for the close protection operative in the private security industry
- Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry.
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by practical assessments and multiple-choice examinations.
